Marry Mead Chicken

Directions

  1. Prep your chicken thighs by coating with salt pepper and garlic powder

  2. Heat up a medium saucepan and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and butter

  3. On a medium-high heat brown your chicken on both sides and remove

  4. Add an additional tablespoon of olive oil and butter

  5. Add the diced white onion and stir until translucent

  6. Add your dices garlic cloves and mix until they become fragrant

  7. Add the tomato paste and mustard and mix

  8. Deglaze the pan with Mazer’s Choice and allow the mead to boil down

  9. Add your chicken stock and heavy cream

  10. Add your chopped sun dried tomatoes

  11. Turn heat low and allow it to simmer until the sauce thickens

  12. Add some chopped basil and salt to taste

  13. Place your chicken back in the sauce and allow it to finish cooking


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs skinless chicken thighs

  • 1 medium white onion

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • ½ cup Mazers Choice traditional mead

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

  • 2-3 oz sun dried tomatoes

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
